Pakta means “union” in the original Quechua language of Peru: a union of two cultures, union of two cuisines called Nikkei, which unites the best of Japanese and Peruvian cuisine. Technique and style of Japanese cuisine but wrapped in the flavors, colors, traditions and Peruvian ingredients.

Pakta is directed by Jorge Muñoz in the kitchen and by Zetkin Lian Chung in the dining room.

The menus

We want to help our clients to live the experience of knowing a new and different cuisine. In addition to being able to work seasonal products in the best possible way; for that reason, we consider that given the complexity of knowing how to choose, it is better to guide them with a sequence of some of the most representative dishes that you will find in our tasting menu.

Currently, we also have a la carte option, subject to the temporality of the product and market availability, to meet the needs of those who want to choose the dishes to taste on their own.

FAQ

  • WHAT IS PAKTA?

The concept of Pakta is a relatively new but nonetheless interesting cooking style, the Nikkei. The word Nikkei when we speak of gastronomy, refers to all Japanese cuisine that is made outside Japan using local products in its elaboration, although for the majority the term has been welcomed and defined as a mixture of Japanese and Peruvian cuisine , where the flavors and techniques of both cultures are combined.

  • CAN I MAKE PHOTOS AND VIDEOS?

Yes, for your personal and private use. Publication without authorization is not allowed. We discourage the use of flash.

  • HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO EAT?

Between 2 and 2.30 hours. We suggest that if they are smokers, they agree to the pauses to be carried out with the room.

  • I AM ALLERGIC, CELIACY OR INTOLERANT TO SOME PRODUCTS ARE THERE ANY ALTERNATIVES?

Tell us your requests and we will try to meet them as much as possible and adapt the menu to your needs. You must communicate in advance through the web or when we contact you.

  • IS THERE ANY VEGAN MENU?

We do not have an exclusive menu for vegans.

  • DO YOU HAVE CHOICE FOR CHILDREN?

The Pakta team advises not to go to the restaurant with small children, since the duration of the menu and the type of service, in many cases, is heavy and extensive for them, causing an uncomfortable situation for the rest of the guests.

  • WHAT IS elBARRI?

elBarri is a global gastronomy project born of the creativity of Albert Adrià. A concept that unites his gastronomic and business vision of restoration. Along the way, he is associated with his brother Ferran Adrià and the Iglesias brothers, creating one of the most exciting, complex, sophisticated and imaginative projects of recent times.

In this situation involves his brother Ferran, who is immediately enthusiastic about the project because of the cultural dimension that it is intended to grant. With the same enthusiasm, it involves the Iglesias brothers, Juan Carlos, Borja and Pedro, owners of the Grup Iglesias that includes the restaurants Rías de Galicia, Espai Kru, Tapes Cañota Bar and Bellavista del Jardín del Norte.
