A labyrinth of 700 m2 created by the RCR architectural studio, designed to generate the sensation of being inside an enigma and surround the diner in an atmosphere of mystery.


Enigma is directed by Oliver Peña in the kitchen and by Cristina Losada in the dining room and cellar.


Reservations

The menu

Enigma offers a unique menu with about 40 elaborations, with a predominance of fish and shellfish and other seasonal products. The menu can change every day according to the season and offers varied elaborations. At the moment, Enigma does not have menu without products of the sea, vegetarian, vegan, infantile or reduced.

In the drinks menu, you will find options for drinking by the glass, by the bottle or several selections of drinks made by the team of sommeliers. You can choose between wine, sake or non-alcoholic drinks, among other options. Prices according to the menu to choose in the restaurant, it is not necessary to book in advance.

The tour has an estimated duration of 3.5 hours depending on the number of guests at the table. Keep in mind that it is an estimated average duration and it is not possible to decrease the duration of the route. The total time depends on the pace of the diners and the stops they make. Inform if they are smokers so that the room team can organize the breaks with the kitchen equipment.

FAQ

  • What if I'm late?

    Punctuality is essential for proper functioning, if you are still going to be late, contact us to inform about the time it will take (phone / Whatsapp / mail / SMS). If it overlaps with the next group, priority will be given to those who arrive on time and their route will have to be altered. Enigma does not have a terrace, bar or waiting room. Enigma keeps the right to cancel your table and offer it to other guests in case of not showing up on time.

  • What happens if one of my companions is late?

    Your experience should start promptly at the aforementioned time and if any of your companions is delayed you can join later and at the height of the menu in which the group is.

  • What happens if I do not show up?

    Your menu is planned on the eve of your reservation and hours before it will be rationed according to the number of reservations per day. The products rationed for you will not be served to other customers, in conclusion you will be charged 100% of the amount of the menu.

  • What happens if one of my companions does not show up?

    You will be served as many menus as the capacity of your reserved table.

  • What happens if I have a last-minute unexpected? (illness, loss of flight ...)

    In extreme cases we recommend offering your reservation to friends or relatives who can substitute the reservation. From the waiting list of Enigma we will do everything possible to help you and thus reimburse you the amount advanced. In the case of not finding a substitute table, it would be understood as NO SHOW and 100% of the menu would be charged.

  • Can i come accompanied by a minor?

    Younger people can enjoy the same menu as adults.

    Due to the complexity of both the route and the menu, we do not have menus adapted for children that meet their needs.

    Enigma offers a very long experience and the tour takes place in an adult environment and with a purely gastronomic approach. By extension we do not serve reservations with baby carts.

  • Are there menus without seafood, menu or other options?

    If you prefer to choose a menu without seafood, fish, vegetarian, vegan, children’s menu or reduced, we suggest you decline your reservation and visit other restaurants in elBarri.

  • What should I do if I am allergic, intolerant, do not drink alcohol, or if I do not like some ingredient?

    Consult your companions also and inform us within 2 days so that we can prepare an alternative menu.

  • What is elBarri?

    elBarri is a global gastronomy project born of the creativity of Albert Adrià. A concept that unites his gastronomic and business vision of restoration. Along the way, he is associated with his brother Ferran Adrià and the Iglesias brothers, creating one of the most exciting, complex, sophisticated and imaginative projects of recent times.

    In this situation involves his brother Ferran, who is immediately enthusiastic about the project because of the cultural dimension that it is intended to grant. With the same enthusiasm, it involves the Iglesias brothers, Juan Carlos, Borja and Pedro, owners of the Grup Iglesias that includes the restaurants Rías de Galicia, Espai Kru, Tapes Cañota Bar and Bellavista del Jardín del Norte.
